A Business Owner Talking
to Business Owners.
I didn't leave the corporate world because I got bored. I left because I wanted to do work that actually matters — inside businesses where the owner picks up the phone.
I've spent my career walking into organizations that were running on gut, memory, and relationships — and building the infrastructure that made everything visible, trackable, and scalable. The industry changed every time. The problem was always the same.
I've done it inside a defense flooring contractor managing $10M in annual revenue. Inside a national nonprofit with a 200,000-person database that nobody could actually use. Inside a SaaS company where the customer success team was firefighting instead of retaining. Inside a consulting firm — my own co-founder's — where 35 years of hard-earned expertise was completely invisible online.
In every case, the people I worked with were exceptional at what they did. They just didn't have the systems to show for it.
I started Buoyant Operations because I wanted to work with people who actually feel the impact. When I help a small business owner get found online for the first time, or build them a pipeline that runs without them babysitting it — that's a real change in their life. Not a line in a quarterly deck.
I'm not here to hand you a strategy document. I'm here to build the thing, make sure it works, and make sure you understand how to use it. My clients are business owners — we talk to each other like it.
"The goal is simple: your business should be able to run without you in the middle of everything. That's not about stepping back — it's about building something that works."
I'm based in Virginia Beach and work with small and mid-size businesses across Hampton Roads, VA and remotely. If you've been in business for 10+ years and feel like you're leaving something on the table — I'd like to talk.
